Celebrating Passion Week at First Christian
We would be honored if you would join us on Easter Morning to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. We'll be gathering at 7:00am at the Rogers' home on the Wilson River Highway for an early morning celebration with music, reflections and Continental Breakfast. From there we'll make our way back to the main campus for the morning service from 9:15-10:45am.
As always, we'll have stuff for every age group from nursery to adults! Please call or email if you have any questions! |
We'll be eating together on Wednesday evening, March 25, as we relive the Seder Meal through the lens of Jesus and his disciples at the Last Supper. This traditional Jewish meal has been observed by God's people for more than 4000 years as the Jews celebrated God's mighty hand in breaking the yoke of Egyptian tyranny and setting their hearts to watch for their ultimate savior, Messiah Jesus. As we observe, we'll see how Jesus not only celebrated this meal, but pointed his disciples to the fact that He was the fulfillment of the promises they had anticipated for centuries.
This is for everyone and includes kids! Dinner is provided, but space is limited to 100, so please make your reservations as soon as possible. Call or come by the church office to sign up. |
